OPS Engineer 3 (On-site)
Job Description
Our client is seeking an OPS ENGINEER 3 to support a critical defense and aerospace program. This position plays a key role in maintaining product integrity, driving quality, and improving operational efficiency in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
- Maintain compliance with all safety protocols and promote a safe working environment
- Test, troubleshoot, disposition, and perform root cause corrective actions on both classified and unclassified units
- Create, maintain, and improve work instructions and test plans
- Review and approve engineering changes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and compliance
- Participate in internal audits and quality investigations (including RCCA and 7-Step methodologies)
- Provide feedback to improve build and design processes
- Troubleshoot tooling, eliminate process bottlenecks, and optimize test equipment utilization
- Work to reduce inventory and maximize turnaround times
- Support best practice sharing and team knowledge development
- Identify training needs and provide coaching as needed
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of electrical circuit analysis
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience troubleshooting down to the module level
- Familiarity with RCCA processes
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Strong focus on meeting quality and project milestones
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required

- Bachelor’s Degree required

Pay Range: $43.00 - $48.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
