Operations Supervisor (Direct hire) On-site
Job Description
We are seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee operations in a high-volume production environment for our client. This is a fully on-site role responsible for ensuring production efficiency, meeting service level agreements, and maintaining quality and compliance standards.
- Ensure all service level agreements are met in a cost-efficient manner
- Prioritize production workflows to meet regulatory and contractual deadlines
- Monitor production lines to maximize throughput and control labor costs
- Coordinate resources across departments to drive efficiency and maintain quality standards
- Oversee daily production floor operations and workforce performance
- Ensure all operators receive proper technical, quality, and compliance training
- Manage staffing levels, including coordination with temporary labor agencies based on volume
- Assign work across machines to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Drive cross-training initiatives to optimize workforce flexibility and reduce labor costs
- Plan, monitor, and schedule labor based on production demands
- Ensure smooth shift transitions by communicating priorities and updates to incoming teams
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors as needed
- Partner with operations to support preventative maintenance schedules for equipment
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM (Peak: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Compensation: $60,000 – $65,000 + bonus eligible (Depending on experience and qualifications)
