Our client, a leader in the Financial Services industry, is actively seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team in South Windsor, CT. This is a highly visible leadership role with strong growth potential across the business.

As the Production Supervisor, you will be accountable for ensuring all Service Level Agreements with Broadridge clients are met in the most cost-efficient manner. You will lead all aspects of labor on the production floor, oversee production lines, and prioritize client mailings to ensure optimal throughput, minimal downtime, and high-quality output. This role plays a critical part in coordinating resources across

  • Receive materials into the warehouse and ensure timely distribution to the production floor
  • Provide production sign-off on all jobs, including material, media, and indicia verification
  • Supervise approximately 15 to 25 permanent and temporary employees
  • Ensure all operators receive proper technical, quality, and ISO training; cross-train associates across production operations to reduce labor costs and optimize equipment placement
  • Maintain working knowledge of all mail industry production equipment, including bindery, insertion, and postal sorting, with an understanding of capabilities, limitations, and workflow improvements
  • Prioritize and delegate all Must-Mail jobs, track hot jobs, and ensure deadlines are consistently met
  • Pull jobs from supporting areas such as Print Room, Forms, Inkjet, and Scheduling to meet or exceed SLAs
  • Provide warehouse teams with appropriate lead-time to ensure materials availability and accurate inventory counts
  • Coordinate with outside vendors to support sorting needs and forecast labor requirements
  • Ensure all safety standards are met and strictly adhered to
  • Mentor, coach, and develop production staff; provide ongoing feedback, conduct performance appraisals, support training, and facilitate career development opportunities

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three to five years of experience in a warehouse or production environment
  • Three to five years of supervisory experience
  • Availability for a flexible schedule and overtime, including weekends as required
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment
  • Strong time management skills and ability to remain composed in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
  • Proficiency with PCs and common application software, including Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills

Compensation

  • Salary range: $65,000 to $75,000 annually  (Depending on experience and qualifications)
  • Bonus eligible

Work Schedule
Second Shift: Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM
