HEPCO is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Piping Designer to fulfill our client's requirements. The ideal candidate will possess extensive AutoCAD 3D Plant Design experience, with the ability to produce safe and error-free modeled deliverables. The Piping Designer should have a strong background in the Chemical, Refining, or Petrochemical industries, demonstrating expertise in interpreting Piping Material Specifications and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams. The individual should be familiar with industry codes and standards to ensure compliance in their designs.

• Utilize AutoCAD Plant 3D software to model piping and equipment efficiently.
• Determine appropriate pipe support types and their required locations.
• Work with Model Review software, preferably Navisworks, to review and enhance design models.
• Familiarity with Laser Scan and model combinations.
• Develop General Equipment Arrangements to meet project requirements.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in modeling piping and equipment using AutoCAD Plant 3D software.
• Ability to identify and implement appropriate pipe support types and locations.
• Experience with Model Review software, preferably Navisworks.
• Familiarity with Laser Scan and model combinations.
• Capability to develop General Equipment Arrangements.

Experience Required:

• 10 years or more of Piping Design experience within the Chemical, Refining, or Petrochemical industries.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D.

Education Required:

• Experience is required; however, relevant academic background (AA or Tech diploma in Drafting/Design) is a plus.
