Planner/Scheduler (On-site)
Job Description
The Planner will be responsible for managing day-to-day coordination between internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers to ensure all work is properly scheduled, resourced, and executed. This role plays a critical part in maintaining workflow efficiency, supporting operational readiness, and ensuring project deadlines are met.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand need dates, schedule resources, monitor work progression, and deliver solutions aligned with established policies and processes.
- Facilitate periodic scheduling meetings with key stakeholders to explain scheduling decisions, review strategy, and support process implementation.
- Attend bi-weekly work plan meetings to review overall workload and make adjustments as necessary.
- Determine and apply resource strategies, including roving crews, overtime, and contractor usage to ensure efficient scheduling and resolve conflicts.
- Communicate scheduled priorities and any changes across all relevant lines of business.
- Manage the backlog of work available for scheduling and assist with overall design and construction backlog oversight.
- Communicate directly with customers to coordinate appointments, schedule outages, resolve inquiries, and facilitate any other required communication.
- Support storm restoration events as needed, including supervising field or contractor personnel.
- Participate in the OH/UG Lines stand-by rotation when required, taking on supervisory responsibilities during storms or in the absence of regular supervisors.
- Work with Inside Plant management to schedule capital and O&M work.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong scheduling, planning, or coordination experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
