Procurement Analyst II (On-site)
Job Description
Our client is seeking a Procurement Analyst II to conduct moderate to complex procurement actions for various government programs. The candidate will ensure compliance with prime contracts, FAR, DFAR, company policies, and CPSR requirements. Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing purchase requisitions and initiating RFQs/RFPs.
- Reviewing bids, selecting suppliers, and negotiating terms and conditions.
- Procuring materials, equipment, supplies, and services based on program-specific requirements.
- Developing purchase orders in accordance with specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions.
- Leading procurement activities and managing commodities for materials, software, and services.
- Developing and executing sourcing strategies to align with Business Area objectives.
- Negotiating terms and conditions, including price, delivery, quality, and performance requirements.
- Managing suppliers throughout all phases of program execution, including resolving invoice issues and responding to inquiries.
- Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and providing quality customer service.
- Supporting proposal preparation and supplier management activities.
- Documenting all fact-finding and negotiation processes to ensure compliance with government, corporate, and program-specific policies.
Skills Required:
- Familiarity with defense DoD industry regulations
- Experience buying across various commodities (electronics, mechanical, capital projects, maintenance contracts, etc.)
- Commodity strategy implementation
- Financial acumen and project/supplier management
- Strategic and critical thinking
- Strong negotiation skills
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) policies and procedures
Skills Preferred:
- Curiosity and desire for continuous improvement
- Familiarity with Cost Point purchasing system, Exostar
Experience Preferred:
- 3+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, negotiations, price analysis, or contract management
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years work experience, or
- Associate’s Degree and 4 years work experience, or
- 6+ years of relevant experience with HS diploma or equivalent

Pay Range: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
