Job Description

Work at an elite aerospace defense contractor in a critical position as a product support specialist.
  • Provide enhanced asset management and material tracking.
  • Provide accurate accounting of equipment pedigree and status for program/government assets in production in advance of customer delivery, while in the field, and when returned for repair, maintenance, or upgrade as items are moved between locations or facilities.
  • Manual inventory, electronic tracking, and management to maintain and balance inventory stock levels and providing asset visibility and reporting on the movement of items from source to destination to each member of the program/customer team.
Skills Required:
  • Able to use online database inquiries for purposes of data collection and asset tracking.
  • Ability to collect, manage, and track Government Furnished Equipment / Government Furnished Material to/from various locations, following company policies and program plan/procedures.
  • Demonstrated flexibility on task performance and follow-through to ensure completion.
  • Ability to maintain situational awareness and asset visibility of all program assets in local inventory for storage, repair, or authorized for ongoing long-term use and issue, receive, transfer, redistribute, or dispose of tracked assets as required.
  • Ability to perform regular site inventories/audits on a recurring or as required basis.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. and inspect labels, barcodes, and other features of completed orders for correctness and compliance.
  • Ability to gain and hold a SECRET security clearance.
Experience Required:
  • Demonstrated experience performing ongoing management of field returns and system components in support of product shipments meeting contract and internal delivery commitments.
  • Demonstrated experience with formal data reporting and inventory requirements in support of contract close-out activities.        
Education Required:
  • Requires a High School education or equivalent         
Education Preferred:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical/managerial field or its equivalent and/or seven (7) years of related logistics experience.
