Job Description

HEPCO is seeking a Project Coordinator to support a public-sector healthcare program in Albany, NY. This position will coordinate projects and initiatives involving program administration, reporting, documentation, process improvement, data analysis, and stakeholder communication.

  • Develop project documentation, establish timelines, monitor progress, and track action items through completion.
  • Coordinate projects involving the review and revision of handbooks, program forms, website content, and internal processes.
  • Support annual surveys, outstanding-check reconciliations, program reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Draft and review procedures, processes, flowcharts, forms, and other program documentation.
  • Assist with policy reviews and process-improvement initiatives.
  • Review and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and reporting needs.
  • Serve as a liaison among program teams, regulatory personnel, and other stakeholders.
  • Work with staff to define project objectives, requirements, expectations, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines to ensure milestones are completed as scheduled.
  • Prepare and deliver project-status updates to management.
  • Schedule and facilitate project-related meetings.
  • Develop meeting agendas, record minutes and action items, and coordinate required follow-up.
  • Create standard operating procedures, reporting templates, forms, and project-related processes.
  • Assist with special projects and other related responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Project management or project coordination experience.
  • Experience organizing and facilitating meetings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing program needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous government project-management or contract-management experience.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project.
  • Experience supporting healthcare, health insurance, public-benefit, or government programs.
  • Experience developing procedures, process documentation, reports, or operational metrics.
