Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join their growing team in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for overseeing construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

With more than 40 years of industry experience, our client specializes in high-quality precast concrete fencing and masonry systems for commercial, residential, governmental, and architectural projects. Their reputation is built on exceptional craftsmanship, in-house manufacturing and installation capabilities, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

This is a technology-driven, paperless organization that relies heavily on digital project management tools. Candidates must be comfortable working in a mobile-first environment and utilizing modern construction software platforms.

  • Manage all phases of construction projects from planning through completion
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines
  • Coordinate and allocate resources across multiple projects
  • Supervise field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Communicate with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, clients, and local government officials
  • Negotiate with contractors and vendors to help control project costs
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and quality standards
  • Maintain project documentation, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
  • Provide regular project updates to internal stakeholders and clients
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards

Qualifications

  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Previous experience in construction project management required
  • Experience with precast concrete, masonry, fencing, commercial construction, or related construction industries strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with construction management software
  • Experience with Procore or similar project management platforms
  • Experience with digital purchase order systems such as AvidXchange or similar tools
  • Experience with takeoff software such as Bluebeam or comparable platforms
  • Strong proficiency with iPhones, iPads, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Teams
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Compensation & Benefits

  • $110,000 – $120,000 annual salary (Depending on experience and qualifications)
  • 10%–15% annual bonus opportunity
