Project Specialist (Hybrid) NJ residents only
Job Description
We are seeking a Project Specialist to support the operational components of our client's commercial and residential energy efficiency programs. The selected candidate will assist Energy Consultants, installation partners, and customers by handling various processing activities related to energy efficiency projects. Responsibilities include project creation, document verification, project review, and processing rebate payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support project creation and documentation verification for energy efficiency programs
- Perform accurate and timely reviews of projects and rebate payments
- Manage multiple programs and dashboard queues to ensure project progression
- Validate project accuracy and ensure compliance with requirements
- Utilize MS Dynamics CRM to advance energy efficiency applications through required milestones
- Coordinate with internal teams to address customer and contractor inquiries
- Raise issues and exceptions to appropriate levels for resolution
- Provide insights to improve program design and processing
- Monitor volume trends to offset potential delays
- Ensure outstanding customer and contractor satisfaction
- Cross-train coworkers on program requirements
- Participate in local marketing events and conferences in New Brunswick, NJ
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to follow procedures and quickly assess information
- Comfort with fast-changing priorities and multitasking
- Knowledge of invoice documents, equipment specifications, and operational functions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Dynamics
- Attention to detail and analytical skills
- Experience in energy efficiency programs
- Professional presence with a desire to improve processes and exceed goals
Desired Skills:
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Associate degree in a related field (preferred)
- Three or more years of experience supporting customer programs
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients and partners
- Ability to present program details for recruitment and participation
Experience & Education (Desirable):
- Associate degree in a related discipline
- Three or more years of experience supporting customer programs

Pay Range: $31.25 - $36.05 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
