Our client is seeking a Public Relations Manager that will serve as the lead for digital content on the Department’s websites. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the publication of approved digital content using the Drupal content management system.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and directing data entry processors responsible for uploading digital content.
• Applying established style guidelines to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance with NYSDOT and New York State digital communication standards.
• Coordinating content updates to reflect current initiatives, public-facing priorities, and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Four years of experience in public relations and digital communications
• OR
• A bachelor's or master's degree in Communications, English, Public Relations, or Digital Communications.
• Substitution: An associate degree may be substituted for two years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent writing and editing abilities, with a talent for translating complex topics into clear and accessible content.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong visual and design sensibility, with an understanding of layout and formatting best practices.
• Proficient in web content management systems, ideally Drupal.
