Job Description

Step into a dynamic role as a Quality Rep QA/QC Specialist, where your expertise will be pivotal in upholding and enhancing the quality standards for our prestigious client. Every day, you’ll collaborate closely with the Design Quality Manager, ensuring that each project meets the highest standards of quality assurance and control. Here’s a glimpse of what your day-to-day responsibilities will look like:

  • Implementation of Quality Plans and Procedures: You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive quality plans and procedures that align with industry standards and project requirements.
  • Create Records of Each Review and Sign-Off: Diligently document every quality review and sign-off, ensuring that all records are precise and easily traceable.
  • Perform Support Services: Provide essential support services by responding to RFIs (Requests for Information), reviewing shop drawings, submittals, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
  • Review Field Design Changes: Assess and evaluate field design changes, as-built drawings, and utility coordination to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Perform QA/QC Review of Documents/Drawings: Conduct meticulous QA/QC reviews of project documents and drawings as directed by the Quality Manager.
  • Help Quality Manager Create/Update Quality Procedures: Assist the Quality Manager in developing and updating quality procedures, continuously improving our processes.
  • Support All Project Quality Objectives: Contribute proactively to achieving all project quality objectives, ensuring that the highest standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.

What Your Experience Looks Like

  • Experience in Reviewing Engineering Documents: You bring a wealth of experience in reviewing and analyzing engineering documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Effective Working Relationships: You excel at establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Minimal to Moderate Supervision: You are capable of performing assigned responsibilities with minimal to moderate supervision, demonstrating strong initiative and independence.
  • Prioritization and Organization: Your skills in prioritizing, organizing, and performing multiple work assignments simultaneously are exceptional.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Your strong interpersonal skills enable effective communication and collaboration within the team and with external partners.
  • Multidisciplinary Design-Built Projects: Experience on multidisciplinary design-built projects is considered an asset, showcasing your versatility and adaptability.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel: Intermediate-level proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel is required for document preparation and data analysis.
  • Experience with Project Management Tools: Familiarity with project management tools such as SharePoint, Wrench, Aconex, and Procore is desirable, enhancing your ability to manage project documentation and workflows.
