Registered Architect (On-site)
Job Description
Work at the most complex mass transportation system in the world and be a key contributor as a registered architect.
- Reviews/creates in-house technical designs for non-Design-Build projects.
- Responsible for developing third party/consultant contract task order scope of works with associated estimates.
- Responsible for managing third party/consultant contract task order scope of work to develop required technical documents for Design-Build/Non-Design Build projects.
- Responsible for monitoring and/or auditing third-party technical design and engineering activities for compliance with the contract's requirements.
- Provides continuous design oversight throughout the entire project lifecycle. Manages and allocates design review team members to project schedules/milestones. Acts as technical authority & governance.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction or project management, transportation, or a related field.
Experience Requirements:
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Licensing Requirements:
Registered Architect license in NYS is required.

- Must have focus and ability to deliver results, organizational effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
- Must possess excellent team building, listening, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- Proficient computer skills (i.e., Windows environment, Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft, Oracle, etc.) and strong business administrative skills (i.e., presentations, report and letter writing, time management, etc.).
Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
Work Location:
Based out of 2 Broadway, New York, NY 10004 but requires 10% field office travel.
