Position Description: As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within our client's Systems Engineering team. Collaborating with a diverse group of professionals, you will contribute to the design and development of products supporting our Combat Vehicle and Naval Guns Product Lines. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact while furthering your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on requirements development and management.
  • Analyze and derive subsystem and component performance specifications.
  • Maintain requirements verification, compliance, and associated documentation.
  • Facilitate the development of system architecture, subsystems, and components.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of interface requirements and design information.
  • Document design decisions and contribute to the creation of System/Subsystem Design Descriptions (SSDDs) and capability assessments.
  • Conduct trade studies and formal decisions to drive design solutions.
  • Support the monitoring of cost, schedule, and risk throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate Systems Engineering activities to influence design outcomes.
  • Participate in vehicle-level Systems Engineering activities and program milestone reviews.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency with DOORS requirements management tool.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong background in systems engineering including requirements analysis, derivation, and allocation.
  • Experience developing architecture concepts and evaluating design alternatives.
  • Ability to balance system design considerations including CONOPS, performance, constraints, and logistics.
  • Proficient in conducting and documenting complex trade studies.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Experience Required:

  • Experience in supporting requirements development and management.
  • Proficiency with DOORS requirements management tool.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
