Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Municipal Infrastructure Regional Manager to lead and grow its Southern New England municipal engineering practice. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing project delivery, managing engineering teams, developing client relationships, and supporting business growth throughout the region.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing municipal infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater systems, stormwater management, and utility improvements. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to municipal clients while leading multidisciplinary teams through planning, design, permitting, and construction phases.

  • Lead and manage municipal infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
  • Supervise engineers, designers, and technical staff.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, and financial performance.
  • Develop proposals, scopes of work, and fee estimates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal clients and stakeholders.
  • Support business development and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Oversee project quality and compliance with QA/QC standards.
  • Mentor team members and support professional development initiatives.
  • Assist municipalities with capital improvement planning and funding strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in municipal infrastructure engineering.
  • Strong background in water, wastewater, stormwater, and utility projects.
  • Experience managing engineering teams and complex projects.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Salary: $145,521 - $199,686 (Depending on experience and qualifications) + $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
