Job Description

Join our client’s dynamic Systems Engineering team, where you’ll collaborate with a diverse group of professionals dedicated to designing cutting-edge military systems. These systems support enhanced military capabilities, protect national security, and ensure the safety of critical infrastructure. As a Senior Systems Engineer working on the Combat Vehicle and Naval Guns product lines, you’ll have the opportunity to make a significant impact while growing in your career.

Must have prior military application experience to qualify.
 

  • Support the development and management of system requirements.
  • Analyze and derive requirements to create subsystem and component performance specifications.
  • Develop and maintain requirements verification and compliance processes and documentation.
  • Facilitate architecture development for systems, subsystems, and components.
  • Develop and maintain interface requirements and interface design for subsystems and components.
  • Document design decisions and support the generation of System/Subsystem Design Descriptions (SSDDs) and capability assessments.
  • Conduct trade studies to influence design decisions and document the results.
  • Monitor cost, schedule, and risk while coordinating Systems Engineering activities.
  • Participate in Systems Engineering tasks at the vehicle level and support program milestone reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Systems engineering experience including requirements analysis, derivation, and allocation.
  • Ability to translate requirements into effective design solutions within project constraints.
  • Experience in developing architecture concepts and evaluating system alternatives.
  • Proficient in planning, conducting, and documenting trade studies.
  • Ability to generate SSDDs and perform capability assessments.

Education:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering with a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering.

Pay Range: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
