Systems Reliability Engineer (Hybrid)
Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Reliability Engineer to support various military combat vehicle projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge defense systems, including the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV), Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV), Bradley Family of Vehicles, and Recovery Family of Vehicles.
Job Description
As a Senior Systems Reliability Engineer, you will work closely with lead reliability engineers and design engineers to evaluate design changes and modifications for diagnostics implications, and recommend improvements where feasible. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize diagnostics and testability designs using model-based techniques for complex weapons systems.
- Developing diagnostics and troubleshooting strategies, testing, and analysis methods for complex problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Engaging with suppliers, subcontractors, and customers to integrate diagnostics and testability solutions at the system level.
- Designing cost-effective solutions to detect and isolate faults in systems and equipment.
- Participating in subsystem and system integration and conducting internal and external design reviews.
- Supporting verification and validation activities during fabrication, assembly, and testing phases.
- Preparing presentation materials for senior management, internal, and external customers.
- Managing project activities, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control to ensure successful execution.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience with diagnostics modeling tools (e.g., eXpress or Cameo).
- 5+ years of experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- 8+ years of experience in diagnostics analysis and troubleshooting.
- 5+ years of project management experience.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with peers, customers, and management to solve technical problems and work in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong leadership skills, providing technical consultation, mentorship, and guidance to team members, senior management, and external customers.
- Proven experience managing tasks against cost and schedule, and developing project plans.
- Experience with testability programs as defined by MIL-HDBK-2165.
- Experience managing small teams and overseeing plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Familiarity with system architecture development and systems/diagnostics modeling tools (e.g., eXpress, Cameo).
- Experience with fault tree analysis and the ability to read electrical schematics and logic diagrams.
- Strong background in complex military systems.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods.
Required Education
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 8+ years of related experience.

Pay Range: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
