Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technician for our client with expertise in functional/acceptance testing and troubleshooting down to the component level on power supply-related products. This role will require you to follow established procedures while providing concurrent technical support for engineering teams to meet required specifications. You will be responsible for layout, troubleshooting of mechanical sub-systems, and performing mechanical operations associated with systems development.

  • Perform functional/acceptance testing and troubleshooting on power supply systems, ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
  • Troubleshoot high voltage (HV) power supplies to the component level.
  • Analyze and resolve functional test failures during ESS (Environmental Stress Screening) testing.
  • Assist engineering teams by providing technical support and ensuring systems meet performance and design requirements.
  • Perform mechanical sub-system troubleshooting and operations as part of system development.
  • Document and communicate findings, issues, and solutions with both technical and non-technical teams.

Skills Required:

  • A degree in Electronic Engineering Technology (or equivalent 2 years of formal education in Electronics Tech) OR at least 2 years of related experience.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and understanding AC/DC, linear circuits, digital circuits, OP-AMP circuits, and HV power supplies.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills down to the component level on complex HV power supply systems.
  • Experience with analyzing functional test failures and performing root cause analysis during ESS testing.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
  • Specific certifications such as soldering or high-temperature soldering are a plus.

Experience Required:

  • High school diploma plus one (1) year of formal study in Electronic Engineering Technology or two (2) years of related work experience.
  • Certification in soldering required.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering Technology or a minimum of a 2-year Electronics Tech associate’s degree.

Pay Range: $20.50 - $25.50 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
