Technician III (On-site)
Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled Technician to support the fabrication of Micro & Nano electronic products, as well as support equipment including assembly, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, rework, and repair. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electronic assembly and testing in a precision-driven environment.
- Support the fabrication of Micro & Nano electronic products and related equipment.
- Perform assembly, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, rework, and repair tasks.
- Use electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, etc., to conduct tests and generate test report data.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches to ensure accurate assembly.
- Demonstrate precision and fine motor skills for micro/nano scale fabrication and assembly with minimal defects.
- Work effectively in a team, collaborating with peers and other departments.
- Maintain a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with safety objectives and policies.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency with electronic test equipment, electrical assembly tools, and hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches.
- Precision and fine motor skills for micro/nano-scale fabrication and assembly with near-zero defects.
- High degree of mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge of J-STD-001 or equivalent standards.
- Experience in conducting tests and generating test reports using electronics test equipment (e.g., scopes, meters).
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety policies.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to communicate feedback to support design, fabrication, and test improvements.
- Experience with Cirris and/or Automated Test Equipment (ATE) operation.
- Troubleshooting experience in electronic and electrical systems.
- Trained and proficient in manufacturing and quality standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3, IPC-610 Class 3, and J-STD-001.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Education Requirements:
- 2-year technical degree or a minimum of 2 years of related technician experience in a production or prototype environment.

Pay Range: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
