Technician III (On-site)
Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical/Electronic Technician III to join their Electrical Lab team in Minneapolis, MN. This role involves hands-on work in the fabrication, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of advanced Micro and Nano electronic products and support equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic assembly and testing, as well as excellent fine motor skills for working with precision components.
- Support the fabrication and assembly of Micro & Nano electronic products
- Conduct inspections, testing, troubleshooting, rework, and repairs
- Use electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes and meters
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches
- Maintain a high level of precision and quality, working to near-zero defect standards
- Work collaboratively in a team environment
- Generate accurate and detailed test reports
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment
Required Skills:
- Proficiency with electronic test equipment and hand tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Fine motor skills suitable for micro/nano scale work
- Understanding of J-STD-001 or similar quality standards
- Ability to interpret and follow technical drawings and procedures
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Cirris or Automated Test Equipment
- Troubleshooting skills in electronic and electrical systems
- Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3, IPC-610 Class 3, and J-STD-001 standards
- Ability to contribute to continuous improvement in design, fabrication, and testing processes
Education and Experience Requirements:

Associate’s degree in a technical field or a minimum of 2 years of relevant technician experience in either a production or prototype environment
