Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical/Electronic Technician III to join their Electrical Lab team in Minneapolis, MN. This role involves hands-on work in the fabrication, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of advanced Micro and Nano electronic products and support equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic assembly and testing, as well as excellent fine motor skills for working with precision components.

• Support the fabrication and assembly of Micro & Nano electronic products
• Conduct inspections, testing, troubleshooting, rework, and repairs
• Use electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes and meters
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches
• Maintain a high level of precision and quality, working to near-zero defect standards
• Work collaboratively in a team environment
• Generate accurate and detailed test reports
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment

Required Skills:

• Proficiency with electronic test equipment and hand tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Fine motor skills suitable for micro/nano scale work
• Understanding of J-STD-001 or similar quality standards
• Ability to interpret and follow technical drawings and procedures
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Cirris or Automated Test Equipment
• Troubleshooting skills in electronic and electrical systems
• Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3, IPC-610 Class 3, and J-STD-001 standards
• Ability to contribute to continuous improvement in design, fabrication, and testing processes

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in a technical field or a minimum of 2 years of relevant technician experience in either a production or prototype environment
