Job Description

We are seeking a Test Engineer with significant test software development experience to bolster our client's Integrated Test Engineering (ITE) organization. The ITE team is dedicated to providing reliable, customer-focused, and cost-effective test solutions integrated across all levels of production. This role will encompass the full program lifecycle, from bid and proposal stages to advanced development, testing, and product sustainment. As part of the test engineering team, you'll contribute to the design, development, and deployment of complex automated test systems and applications, particularly focusing on Military Comms, Navigation, and Electronic Warfare equipment.

  • Architecting, designing, analyzing, coding, and modifying test software for analog, digital, RF, and hybrid modules.
  • Proficiency in utilizing vendor supplied and custom measurement equipment, particularly with National Instruments Test Stand, LabVIEW, Lab Windows CVI, C#, and Python software development environments.
  • Developing instrument drivers, utilities, and executables to support testing and verification activities.
  • Creating software documentation for test requirements, design, and operating procedures.
  • Experience with Commercial Instrumentation for testing Military equipment.
  • Active Secret Clearance.

Skills Preferred:

  • Designing, integrating, and troubleshooting factory production test stands.
  • Familiarity with test instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, PXI systems & I/O modules, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
  • Knowledge of boundary scan tools and software.
  • Understanding of FPGA programming and debugging.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 8 years designing and developing test software for automated test systems in production and engineering environments.

Experience Preferred:

  • Conducting design for test analysis.
  • Implementing automated data analytics.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Software, Computer, or Electrical Engineering.
