Test Technician (On-site)
Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled Test Technician to join their team. This role focuses on operational testing and troubleshooting of complex electronic production components and subassemblies. The successful candidate will follow detailed test procedures, diagnose faults down to the component level, and provide clear, written instructions for necessary repairs.
- Perform standard and routine tests following specifications, procedures, and verbal instructions.
- Operate standard test equipment including voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and similar tools.
- Verify and interpret test results using test stands, data sheets, and schematics.
- Troubleshoot to the component level and recommend appropriate rework or repair.
- Record test data, generate failure/acceptance reports, and complete required documentation.
- Apply acceptance stamp to certified units as per standards.
- Assist senior technicians with more complex test procedures.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting electronic assemblies and circuit card assemblies (CCAs).
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, engineering drawings, and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs).
- Solid understanding of analog and digital circuits.
- Skilled in component-level troubleshooting.
- Experience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and standard test equipment.
- Comfortable using computers and software tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Technical training or military equivalent experience in electronics preferred.
Education & Certification:
- High School Diploma or Trade School equivalent required.
- Additional electronic technology education (up to 2 years) strongly preferred.
- Must pass IPC-A-610 Certification.

Pay Range: $20.75 - $25.75 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
