Job Description

We are seeking a Test Technician to support production and engineering operations in a hands-on technical environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong electronics fundamentals who enjoys troubleshooting, testing, and working with precision equipment in a production setting.

Position Description
Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment, conducts tests, and reports data in prescribed formats. Performs calibration and alignment checks and makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed. Prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. Provides production test functions during the production phase of the program.

  • Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, test, and maintain electronic and electromechanical systems
  • Interpret and work from schematics, blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Perform calibration and alignment checks and document results
  • Support production test functions during the production phase
  • Coordinate with production operations, engineering, and related personnel
  • Analyze results and report data accurately in required formats
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills Required

  • High School or Trade School diploma or equivalent with basic knowledge of electronic technology acquired through up to two years of advanced study
  • Experience working with a microscope
  • Experience in basic electronics troubleshooting and repair
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and related test equipment
  • Ability to interpret technical data such as drawings, schematics, blueprints, and specifications
  • Thorough understanding of electronics fundamentals, including identification and operation of active and passive components such as resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, transistors, relays, and transformers
  • Ability to become solder certified
  • High School or Trade School diploma or equivalent and basic knowledge of electronic technology acquired through up to two years of advanced study

Skills Preferred

  • Troubleshooting experience in electronics technology down to the circuit component level
  • Experience supporting both electronic and mechanical functions
  • Ability to construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain systems and components
  • Experience performing basic electronic troubleshooting, testing, and mechanical assembly operations
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions
  • Ability to obtain and hold ESD, Material Handling, and Solder Certifications
  • Ability to lift and carry objects
  • Ability to use various crimping tools
  • One to three years of experience as an electronic assembler preferred

Pay Range: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
